Sunday Sketch

February 1, 2015 By Kevin Thorn 2 Comments

This sketch has been sitting in a sketchbook for over a year and half looking for a purpose. These little panel toons are fun because they can be re-purposed with just about any caption.

And because it’s Super Bowl Sunday, I thought I’d give it some color. Chicago Bears colors of course!

Enjoy!

Hello Kevin, just saying hello. I’m an instructional designer for Rogers Communications training division in Canada. I’ve only recently started using Articulate and saw your contributions on their website.

I love the NuggetHead studioz look. I really love that you make traditional illustration a part of your business strategy. I’m an old school graphic artist and that makes me hopeful that I can learn the new e-learning tools without abandoning my previous knowledge.

    Cheers.

      Hey Steven,

Thanks for the kind words. Just visited your site and really enjoy (and agree) the old school graphic art as lost it’s “art” in some ways. I love the freedom and hand-drawn style and always looking for opportunities to incorporate that visual style in my work.

You can learn new technologies without sacrificing previous styles. It’s just a matter of figuring out how to mash the two together!
